Literature Text
Out through the window,
and under the door,
the winter is coming,
across on the floor.
Its frosty and chilly,
and calmer at night,
where jackfrost be creeping,
beyond the first light.
The seasons are changing,
the rain starts to fall,
whilst by night I'm laying,
quite warm on the floor.
I know what your thinking,
its easy to see,
but guess who lies slinking,
oh yes, its just me!
The creature you wonder,
will crouch by the door,
and by night will slumber,
in dwellings quite poor.
Beyond in the distance,
there rolls in a fog,
the creature your seeking,
is me, your cold dog.
and under the door,
the winter is coming,
across on the floor.
Its frosty and chilly,
and calmer at night,
where jackfrost be creeping,
beyond the first light.
The seasons are changing,
the rain starts to fall,
whilst by night I'm laying,
quite warm on the floor.
I know what your thinking,
its easy to see,
but guess who lies slinking,
oh yes, its just me!
The creature you wonder,
will crouch by the door,
and by night will slumber,
in dwellings quite poor.
Beyond in the distance,
there rolls in a fog,
the creature your seeking,
is me, your cold dog.
