Since painting is such a physical art, I think it's very interesting to see a close up view of the brush strokes and the variations in tone and pressure. (Perhaps I'm especially impressed because I've gotten away from physical artwork by working so much with digital artwork, but I think it's great to see and appreciate this sort of artwork at close range.)
